2016 Audi SQ7 Review |VIDEO|

To convince 2.3 tons of luxury SUV to reach a 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds you need a bigger engine or a turbocharger;Audi has gone for both. Not that long ago if you wanted a luxury SUV,you bought a Range Rover;if you wanted a fast one,the Cayenne came along. But now SQ7 is designed to give you both those things in one car. The electrically-powered compressor can crank up to 70.000 RPM in less than a quarter of a second and all that energy pushes through the turbochargers. The electric motor has its own gearbox inside. What that does is when you’re driving for comfort it’s actually not connected (all four wheels do actually operate indepedent),when you’re pushing harder it is connected and it can operate it up to 1200 Nm of twisting force so the car is really flat through corners.
